Dr. Berin Gilfillan and his wife Lisa worked from 1986-89 with the ministry of German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. In 1991, they started the missionary ministry of Good Shepherd Ministries, International. From 1992-94, the Gilfillan family were missionaries in the country of Nigeria. From there they started 140 video Bible schools and also pioneered a successful preschool. Since 1994, Good Shepherd Ministries, International has been developing the International School of Ministry (ISOM), a project sometimes referred to as "the training equivalent of the Jesus movie".
